Installation Instructions
Always check to confirm the firearm is unloaded and safe before performing any work.
Always measure and confirm the inside diameter of your muzzle device is greater than the caliber of the firearm you intend to install it on.
Always clean the threads on your firearm and muzzle brake prior to test fitting.
Test fit the muzzle brake to ensure that it threads all the way on easily. If the brake does not spin freely measure the pitch diameter of the muzzle threads to ensure they have been machined properly. Demigod Precision Muzzle Brakes are machined and gaged to 2B thread specifications.
Prior to final installation remove the jam nut (left handed threads) and apply a small amount of anti-seize or grease to prevent galling and then thread it all the way onto the brake.
We recommend a small amount of blue thread locker or Rocksett adhesive on the muzzle threads to ensure it does not come loose unless you want it to.
Thread the brake onto the barrel threads all of the way and then back it off until the angled port cutouts are pointing up.
I like to put a bubble level on the top flat of the brake to align it to the rest of the rifle. When it is oriented properly hold the brake in place with one wrench while you back the jam nut up against the barrel shoulder. Remember, these are left handed threads so you should be applying opposing force on the 2 wrenches. Do not over tighten or damage to your brake or barrel can occur.
After installation, always confirm proper alignment with a bore alignment rod before firing.
